Arsenal are expected to sign two more players this week as Mikel Arteta seeks to bolster his team ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Arsenal have already completed one signing, with teenager Marquinhos joining from Sao Paulo, while Porto have announced the acquisition of Fabio Viera for a cost of about £35 million. Both are under the age of 23 and fit Arteta’s requirements for a player.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to spend approximately £70 million on two additional players, with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez at the top of their shopping list, according to the Mail.
Jesus, who has one year remaining on his contract and will be able to leave the current Premier League winners this summer, is said to be valued at roughly £50 million by City.
